August 7, 2008. After an exhaustive needs analysis, business process review and nationwide vendor search that lasted more than 3 years, the County of Prince George, VA has selected INKforce™ software for its comprehensive total solution package. Under the agreement, INKforce™ will provide its award winning highly mobile Code Enforcement, Building & Permitting, Planning & Zoning, Fire Inspections, Point of Sale solutions and in addition, Selectron IVR to the County. INKforce™ was selected out of a field of 7 vendors for their ability to deliver a fully integrated comprehensive solution that will provide significant system cost savings and at the same time drastically improve the delivery of services to the citizens of Prince George County, VA.  

October 1, 2008. Miami Dade County today went live with their new INKforce™ Code Enforcement Tracking (CET) software solution. As a large and complex implementation, the INKforce™ professional services organization welcomed the challenge of integrating INKforce™ CET into the county’s two proprietary software applications; an Oracle based “Case Management System” on the front end and the robust home grown “Enterprise Document Management System” on the back end. After a detailed needs analysis, the integration was performed followed by application training and a comprehensive testing procedure. As could be expected, the go-live date was a total success.  As a result of this achievement, new opportunities are opening up to continue building on the partnership with Miami Dade County. This new implementation confirms that the INKforce™ applications will scale without limitation to the largest counties in the country.

September 21-23, 2008. INKforce Software exhibited at the 2008 ICMA (International City/ County Managers Association) annual conference in Richmond, VA. With a show attendance of over 3000, this was truly an international event. City management representing organizations from over 15 countries had the opportunity to stop by the INKforce booth for personalized product demonstrations. Most important to the show attendees this year was the need for truly mobile solutions that save time and money, but just as important, any new solutions need to be on the dependable and internationally recognized Microsoft.Net platform. The INKforce sales and marketing team addressed all of those needs with presentations of the award winning, fully mobile Code Enforcement, Building & Permitting, and Fire Inspection modules;  all built on the Microsoft . Net platform and leveraging many other Microsoft technologies. As a Gold Certified partner, all of the INKforce applications have been fully tested and certified by Microsoft.

Calvin, Giordano & Associates, Inc. and Panasonic Computer Solutions Company today announced the availability of INKforce™ Code Enforcement Tracking (CET) solution for the Panasonic Toughbook® U1, the first rugged ultra mobile PC (UMPC) to integrate the new low power Intel® Atom™ processor. The U1 reinvents handheld computing by integrating robust features previously only available on a full size PC in a rugged UMPC form factor that can be used anywhere.

After an extensive testing period, a 3rd party organization, an INKforce™ customer, confirmed that the Code Enforcement Module passed all aspects of  web security based on the industry’s premier web application security assessment software from Hewlett  Packard called “WebInspect”.  Unlike other web assessment software tools, WebInspect was designed to address the complexity of web 2.0 applications and can identify vulnerabilities that are undetectable by traditional scanners. August 15, 2008. For the 2nd year in row, INKforce software exhibited at the annual Florida League of Cities show in Tampa Florida. The event which boasted hundreds of attendees from most all communities across the state of Florida brings together a variety of city officials to learn, share information and network. INKforce software was a big hit and provided a large number of product demonstrations to an enthusiastic crowd who came looking for cost effective software solutions that would bring new efficiency to local government and at the same time provide a higher level of services to the citizens of Florida.

For the third consecutive year, INKforce™ has exhibited at the EduCode conference in Las Vegas, NV. Meeting with organizations and municipalities from as far away as Dubai UAE, the INKforce™ team had the opportunity to provide individual demonstrations to address a wide variety of needs. As with previous years, the INKforce™ technology stood out from the competition as the most efficient tool set for providing complete real time, web based Building and Planning functionality. New to the show this year for INKforce™ was the release of the Business Tax Receipt BTR) module, an upgrade from the previous Occupational Licensing System Module.

Today, INKforce™ Software was the focus of an hour long presentation to 70+ code officers attending the Code Enforcement Association of Texas's annual week long educational conference in Seabrook, TX. Darlene Mays (The City of Odessa, TX) delivered the presentation that highlighted the smooth implementation process and impressive new performance results that she is experiencing with her new INKforce™ software system.

The INKforce™ sales and management team attended the Government Technology Conference in Austin, TX in November of 2007. This show saw technology related professionals attending from across the entire southwest region including Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arkansas, and Louisiana. The INKforce™ team demonstrated all software modules (Code Enforcement, Building & Permitting, and Fire Inspection) to an enthusiastic crowd and had several requests for live follow up demonstrations after the show.

INKforce™ formally announced that a partnership agreement has been reached with Selectron Technologies, Inc to integrate the world's best IVR solution with all INKforce™ modules. "The partnership with Selection further strengthens our offering and now puts us in the unique position of being able to easily compete on larger opportunities where world class IVR is needed where we can still offer significantly faster implementations and more moderately priced alternatives than our competition.

The INKforce™ sales and marketing team attended the National League of Cities annual conference in New Orleans, LA. Exhibiting for 4 days, the INKforce™ team delivered numerous individualized product demonstrations and met with many city officials from all parts of the County. INKforce™ Software was the only 100% web based, real time software solution exhibiting that addressed Code, Building and Fire inspections modules at the show where attendance was estimated at over 3000.

Today INKforce™ software announced that it has been approved as a "Gateway" partner with industry leading First Data Corporation, Inc to provide a fully integrated best of breed Point of Sale (POS) solution available for all INKforce™ software modules. First Data Corporation (the county's largest payment processing organization) is the industry leader in electronic payment systems for both checks and credit/debit cards. As a partner with First Data Corporation, INKforce™ has developed their point of sale system to allow municipalities to accept payments online, or at their counter using credit cards, debit cards, personal and company checks. With all financial risk shifted to First Data Corp, the City of West Park no longer worries about fee collection and now provides a superior payment system for their citizens.

Today, Miami Dade county (Team Metro), the 8th largest County in the U.S., selected INKforce™ software to deliver a customized Code Enforcement Tracking module to the county. Built on the Microsoft. Net platform, the INKforce™ software module easily scales to an unlimited number of mobile users and fits well within the requirements for a large municipality like Miami Dade County, FL.

The Town of Pembroke Park approached the INKforce™ team with a need to implement a new Building and Permitting system to replace an outdated system that no longer met their needs. In addition, a new system would need to be live within an unheard of 30 days. The Inkforce™ team quickly conducted a thorough needs assessment, completely understood all of the critical needs of the Town and then went work on the new system. The system was customized, the training was completed and the system was live within 18 days. Now, the Town of Pembroke Park enjoys providing a superior service to both contractors and their citizens and processes permits in a fraction of the time from the previous system.

ESRI, the GIS industry leader, asked INkforce™ to be a guest in their exhibitor’s booth. INKforce™ provides full integration with ESRI software to deploy the GIS component of the CET (Code Enforcement Tracking), BPT (Building & Permit Tracking) and FIT (Fire Inspection Tracking) modules. The Business Partnership relationship and INKforce™ heavy integration of GIS has lead to a very formidable opportunity for INKforce™ and ESRI. The Town of Lake Park in Palm Beach County has contracted with CGA to implement INKforce™ CET (Code enforcement Tracking) software to automate the Code Compliance Department. Lake Park has been working closely with INkforce™ developers to tailor the CET module to fit their daily work flow process. The software has taken their paper process and integrated it into a streamlines automated paperless process. INKforce™ CET is currently maintained and hosted by CGA at their facilities.

The City of West Park in Broward County, Florida has contracted with CGA to include Code Services. The contract involves integrating the INKforce™ CET (Code Enforcement Tracking) module along with a full-time Code Officer. The City of West Park has leveraged CGA’s administrative experience with their product development to deploy a truly end to end package to serve the City’s community development. INKforce™ CET is currently maintained and hosted by CGA at their facilities.

The City of Weston in Florida signed on with INKforce™ to implement a software solution that would process all permits, provide plan review, track the permit and provide all administrative functions used in your typical Building and Permitting Department. INKforce™ fulfilled that need and Weston has been using the system exclusively. The software is so flexible that it gives the inspectors the leverage to pass or fail an inspection right from the filed and in real time.
